This page explains who publishes this website, how its content is created, how we generate revenue, and what to do if you find something incorrect.

This website is published by Culturae Heritage Services srls, with its registered office at Via dei Banchi 6, 50123 Florence, Italy, VAT/Tax ID IT07519170489, REA FI-709102.

The editorial content is written by the website's own editorial team, not by individual authors. We prefer to present a publication that you can hold accountable, rather than a byline that you cannot verify.

We are an independent guide. We do not own, manage, or represent any hot air balloon operators, tour companies, museums, or ticket offices mentioned on this website, and none of them have editorial control over what we publish.

When a website within our network uses the name of a real institution, that name describes the topic being discussed, and does not indicate any affiliation with that institution.

We charge a commission when you book through the links on this site. The booking is made on the provider's website, at the price that they publish: you never pay more for having come from here, and the commission does not come out of your pocket.

We charge the same regardless of which option you choose, so there's no incentive to push one over the other. Commercial links don't buy a better position or a more favorable description.

Our website combines three sources of information: data from booking platforms, information published by operators and institutions, and our own editorial judgment on what's important when making a choice.

We use AI tools to write, translate, and restructure texts. However, everything that is published is reviewed by a human being before it goes live, and the editorial responsibility rests with us, not with the tool itself.

A small number of images on this site are generated or edited using AI, and they are used to illustrate an idea, not to document a specific moment. All such images are clearly marked with an indication that they were AI-generated. We do not present AI-generated images as photographs of a particular place, event, or person, nor do we use them as evidence of something that occurred. The photographs provided by operators and booking platforms are their own, and we never generate them using AI.

The prices and availability are sourced from booking platforms and change frequently. We update them regularly, but the information you see here is a snapshot, and the provider's website is always the definitive source.

When a price seems unrealistic, our systems flag it for review instead of simply displaying it. If you find a price here that doesn't match the supplier's price, it's an error, and we want to know about it.

We correct errors rather than discreetly erasing them. Substantial corrections to a published article are indicated on the page itself, along with the date.
