3-hour Segway tour of the Modernist Eixample district, including a practice session
Three hours on a Segway to explore the Eixample district and the works of Antoni Gaudí, the architect who shaped Catalan modernism. The tour starts from the office in the Gothic Quarter, near La Rambla, the Columbus Monument, and the Port Vell. Before starting, there's a practice session with the guide: no one goes out onto the street until they can handle the Segway confidently, and those who have never ridden one before usually need a few minutes to get the hang of it. After that, the route passes through the old town, the Port Vell, the Ciutadella Park, and the Arc de Triomf, and then goes up to the Eixample district, where you can see the Casa Lleó i Morera, the Casa Amatller, the Casa Batlló, and the Casa Milà, all located one after another on Passeig de Gràcia. The final leg of the tour reaches the Sagrada Família. Three hours are enough to cover the distance between the sea and the temple, which would be a long walk on foot.
