La Pedrera at night: projections on the chimneys and a glass of cava

BarcelonaCasa Milà open at night, with an hour-and-a-half audiovisual show inside the building itself. It is called La Pedrera Night Experience and it takes you through the house with projections and music that follow Gaudí's obsession with the forms of nature. The high point is on the rooftop: lights are projected onto the twisted chimneys, turning them into caramel-colored clouds or a starry sky, depending on the showing. The night ends with a view of Barcelona lit up from above and a glass of cava. Casa Milà is run by the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, a foundation with social aims. A note on booking: all sales are final and there is no refund if you cancel.

La Pedrera - Casa Mila
La Pedrera was designed by Antoni Gaudí at the beginning of the 20th century and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. At night, it transforms into Gaudí Pedrera: The Origins, with audiovisuals and a soundtrack built around his way of looking at nature. The tour begins in the courtyard on Passeig de Gràcia, one of the two interior courtyards, with the projections already on. Then, you ascend to the museum floor, dedicated to the architect, with its exhibits and more effects. Next is the rooftop, with the show projected onto the spiral chimneys. The evening ends in the Provença courtyard, among murals, mosaics, and staircases, with a glass of cava.
