Sagrada Familia in 90 minutes with an expert guide and skip-the-line entry
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BarcelonaNinety minutes of guided tour of the Sagrada Família, both outside and inside, with skip-the-line entry. The guide begins with the facades, which are full of symbols and can be read like carved pages. Inside, everything changes: the columns rise and open into branches, the stained glass windows cast color onto the stone, and natural light becomes a building material. During this time, the stories of the building are revealed, explaining the meaning of each element and why the design broke with what was done at the time. This is the option for those who want more than just a regular ticket, but don't need a long tour of the rest of Barcelona. There are three options. The small group option maintains the same tour with a maximum of fifteen people, allowing for more space to ask questions. The option with access to the towers adds the possibility of climbing the towers on your own after the guided portion, with Barcelona at your feet. And the Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló option combines two of Gaudí's most famous works in a single outing.

Basílica de la Sagrada Familia
Meeting with the guide near the Sagrada Família and entrance to the temple through the Nativity façade, the only one that Gaudí completed during his lifetime. Its meticulous details are compared to the facades of the Passion and the Glory, which are very different, and you can see how the project has evolved since construction began in 1882. Inside, you walk under tall, tree-shaped columns, designed to make the nave resemble a stone forest. The guide explains the importance of nature, religion, and Catalan identity in Gaudí's architecture, and how the sunlight that passes through the stained glass windows changes the color of the interior as the day progresses. Along the way, you're told how the construction continues, how Gaudí's original plans have been interpreted since the architect's death, and what discussions have arisen regarding the completion of such a building.
Casa Batlló
With the Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló option, the tour begins at Casa Batlló, one of Antoni Gaudí's most famous residential buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will explore the interiors with a guide, focusing on the colors, the light, the shapes inspired by nature, and the solutions that no one had tried before. The time of the visit is chosen to avoid the busiest time of the day, so there is more space to focus on the details before continuing to the Sagrada Família. This option is perfect for those who want to see two of Gaudí's most important buildings in a single guided tour.
