A private tour that takes care, in one go, of the three entrances with the longest lines in Barcelona: the Sagrada Família, Park Güell and La Pedrera. At all three you get in without waiting. The day also includes guided walks through the Gothic Quarter and Montjuïc, and you go up to the viewpoints to see the city from above. At the basilica the guide explains the building and the figure of Antoni Gaudí. Then come Park Güell, with its gardens, and La Pedrera, the last private residence the architect designed. Since it's private, the attention is on your group alone, and in one day you cover the essentials of the city. A good first visit to Barcelona.

  1. Barrio Gótic

The tour begins with a private vehicle pickup from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona, and the route starts in the city center. We begin by exploring the oldest part of the city, the Gothic Quarter, a maze of narrow streets with Roman and medieval architecture. We will visit the Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, and Plaça de Sant Jaume, and we will see sections of the Roman wall. This part of the tour ends at Santa Maria del Mar, in the Born neighborhood, with a stop for breakfast at a local café.

  2. Catedral de Barcelona

Detailed description of the exterior and facade.

    Costo extra

  3. Plaça de Sant Jaume

After passing through the Jewish Quarter, the route stops at Plaça de Sant Jaume, where you'll find Barcelona City Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat.

  4. Basílica de Santa María del Mar

The final stretch was on foot, with an explanation of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar from the outside.

    Costo extra

  5. Basílica de Santa María del Mar

A great place to stop for breakfast, with coffee and something sweet, right in front of the Santa Maria del Mar basilica. There are also restrooms available.

  6. Parc de Montjuic

Next, you will be transferred by private vehicle to Montjuïc mountain, the site of the 1929 International Exposition and the 1992 Olympic Games, which offers one of the best viewpoints in the city.

  7. Cara de Barcelona

On the way to Montjuïc, as you drive, you can see the "Face of Barcelona" sculpture, located near the port. The sculpture is made of letters and symbols that appear to be suspended in the air, and when arranged in a certain way, they create the silhouette of a giant human face looking forward.

  8. Once we pass El Cap de Barcelona (The Head of Barcelona)

After passing the Arc de Triomf, you reach the Columbus Monument. From the car, you can see the 60-meter-high column that rises above the harbor area, with the statue of Christopher Columbus at the top, pointing towards the sea.

  9. After passing the Columbus Monument

After the Columbus Monument, you ascend Montjuïc to the Miramar viewpoint. There, you can stop to calmly admire the city. It's one of the best places to take a photo of Barcelona's skyline, with the hills in the background.

  10. Joan Miró Foundation

From the Miramar viewpoint, you continue climbing up Montjuïc to the Fundació Miró. From the vehicle, you can see the architecture of this museum, nestled on the hillside with the city in the foreground.

  11. Estadi Olímpic

After the Miró Foundation, the route passes by the Olympic Stadium, where the 1992 Barcelona Olympics were held. From the vehicle, you can appreciate the size of the venue and its facade. On some days, the stadium is open to the public, and you can see inside. Nearby is also the Olympic Museum, with exhibitions about the history of the Games and about what the 1992 Games meant for the city.

  12. Museo Nacional d'Arte de Cataluña

After passing the Olympic Stadium, the route leads to the National Museum of Art of Catalonia, the MNAC, which is located on the hillside of Montjuïc.

  13. Casa Batlló

After the MNAC, you pass by the Casa Batlló, located on Passeig de Gràcia, one of Antoni Gaudí's most recognizable works. The facade, with its undulating lines and colors, evokes natural forms such as bones and dragon scales. There is no stop, but it can be seen well from private transportation while the tour continues.

  14. Basílica de la Sagrada Familia

From there, the private vehicle continues to Plaça d'Espanya and the Eixample district, passing by the modernist buildings on the way to the Sagrada Família. At the Sagrada Família, you'll learn about the history of the temple and its symbolism. You'll see the facades, some of which are still under construction, and you'll enter to explore the interior. In addition to the detailed explanations provided by the private guide, entry is guaranteed without waiting in lines.

  15. Park Güell

After lunch, the tour continues to Park Güell, located on Carmel Hill, offering stunning views of the city. The park features gardens designed by Antoni Gaudí, another site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The public areas of the park are explored on foot, and access to the monumental zone is provided without the need to queue.

  16. La Pedrera - Casa Mila

The last stop is La Pedrera. Here, too, you skip the line. You see the inside of this building, a private commission from the Milà family, and then go up to the rooftop, where Passeig de Gràcia looks entirely different. There's commentary on the exterior and the facade, skip-the-line entry and a visit to the rooftop. At the end, the vehicle takes the group back to their hotel or apartment. Due to maintenance work at La Pedrera, tours booked from January 13 to 19 visit Casa Batlló instead.
