A full day in private, covering the three facets of the city: the medieval, the hillside, and the Gaudí areas. The tour includes skip-the-line access to the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, and guided walking tours of the Gothic Quarter and Montjuïc, with views of the city and the port below. At the basilica, the guide explains the building and the figure of Antoni Gaudí, one of the sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Next, it's on to Park Güell, the gardens designed by the same architect. This is a great first experience in Barcelona: in a single day, you'll understand how the city fits together, with a guide dedicated only to your group.

  • Transportation will be provided in a comfortable vehicle from/to your hotel or apartment.

  1. Barrio Gótic

The tour begins with private transportation to your hotel or apartment in Barcelona, and the route starts in the city center. It begins with the oldest part, the Gothic Quarter, a maze of narrow streets with Roman and medieval architecture. You will visit the cathedral, the Jewish quarter, and Plaça de Sant Jaume, and you will see sections of the Roman wall. This part ends at the church of Santa Maria del Mar, in the Born neighborhood, with a stop for breakfast at a café in the area.

  2. Catedral de Barcelona

Detailed description of the exterior and facade.

  3. Plaça de Sant Jaume

After passing through the Jewish Quarter, the route stops at Plaça de Sant Jaume, where you'll find Barcelona City Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat.

  4. Basílica de Santa María del Mar

The final stretch was on foot, with an explanation of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar from the outside.

  5. Basílica de Santa María del Mar

A great place to stop for breakfast, with coffee and something sweet, right in front of the Santa Maria del Mar basilica. There are also restrooms available.

  6. Parc de Montjuic

Next, you will be transferred by private vehicle to Montjuïc, the site of the 1929 International Exposition and the 1992 Olympic Games, which offers one of the best viewpoints for seeing the city.

  7. Cara de Barcelona

On the way to Montjuïc, as you drive, you can see the "Face of Barcelona" sculpture, located near the port. The sculpture is made of letters and symbols that appear to be suspended in the air, and when arranged in a certain way, they create the silhouette of a giant human face looking forward.

  8. Once we pass El Cap de Barcelona (The Head of Barcelona)

After passing the Arc de Triomf, you reach the Columbus Monument. From the car, you can see the 60-meter-high column that rises above the harbor area, with the statue of Christopher Columbus at the top, pointing towards the sea – the very spot from which Barcelona has looked outwards for centuries.

  9. After passing the Columbus Monument

After the Columbus Monument, you ascend Montjuïc to the Miramar viewpoint. There, you can stop to calmly admire the city. It's one of the best places to take a photo of Barcelona's skyline, with the hills in the background.

  10. Joan Miró Foundation

From the Miramar viewpoint, you continue climbing up Montjuïc to the Fundació Miró. From the vehicle, you can see the architecture of this museum, nestled on the hillside with the city in the foreground.

  11. Estadi Olímpic

After the Miró Foundation, the route passes by the Olympic Stadium, where the 1992 Barcelona Olympics were held. From the vehicle, you can appreciate the size of the venue and its facade. On some days, the stadium is open to the public, and you can see inside. Nearby is also the Olympic Museum, with exhibitions about the history of the Games and about what the 1992 Games meant for the city.

  12. Museo Nacional d'Arte de Cataluña

After passing the Olympic Stadium, the route leads to the National Museum of Art of Catalonia, the MNAC, which is located on the hillside of Montjuïc.

  13. Casa Batlló

After the MNAC, you pass by the Casa Batlló, located on Passeig de Gràcia, one of Antoni Gaudí's most recognizable works. The facade, with its undulating lines and colors, evokes natural forms such as bones and dragon scales. There is no stop, but it can be seen well from private transportation while the tour continues.

  14. Después del almuerzo

After lunch, the tour continues to Park Güell, located on the Carmel hill, with the city at your feet, and the gardens designed by Antoni Gaudí, another site inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will explore the public areas on foot, and you will enter the monumental area without queuing. At the end, the vehicle will take you back to your hotel or apartment.

  15. Basílica de la Sagrada Familia

From Montjuïc, the private vehicle descends towards Plaça d'Espanya and the Eixample, passing in front of the modernist buildings on the way to the Sagrada Família. There, you will learn about the history of the temple and its symbolism. You will see the facades, which are still under construction, from the outside, and you will enter to see the interior. In addition to the detailed explanation from the private guide, the entrance is prioritized. The tour ends here, in the center, with transportation back to the hotel or apartment. The guide is with the group all day and answers questions as you go.
