Explore Barcelona by bike or e-bike: choose the Gaudí route or the beaches route
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BarcelonaA bike tour of Barcelona with two possible routes: one that heads up toward the Sagrada Família and one that heads down to the sea. The departure point is Plaça de Sant Agustí Vell, a three-minute walk from the Plaça Catalunya metro. The guides speak English and tell you about the city at the stops, not while you're pedaling. By bike you see much more than on foot, without the fatigue of walking all morning. Along the way you pass El Born, Parc de la Ciutadella with its waterfall, the Arc de Triomf, Poblenou with its converted old warehouses, the Vila Olímpica, Port Olímpic, Barceloneta beach, and Port Vell. The Sagrada Família is included if you choose that route. The route runs almost entirely on bike lanes and pedestrian areas, with comfortable, easy-to-ride bikes, so it works for all ages.
