Explore Modernism by Segway: Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch, and the Gràcia neighborhood

A Segway tour that starts with the expected sights and continues with what almost no tour includes. The expected sights are the Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló, viewed from the street without having to get out of the vehicle and wait in line. The other part of the tour focuses on the Modernist architecture not designed by Gaudí. This includes Casa Fuster and Casa de les Punxes, by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and Lluís Domènech i Montaner, and Casa Amatller, which was built in 1898 for a chocolate magnate in the Eixample district and shares a block with Casa Batlló. The itinerary also passes by La Monumental, the last bullring in operation before the Catalan Parliament banned bullfighting. And it ends in Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia, the main square of a neighborhood that for a long time was separate from the old city: the Gothic Quarter, El Born, El Raval, and Barceloneta were the city, and Gràcia was something else.
