Exploring Barcelona by e-bike, following in the footsteps of Gaudí

A guided electric bike tour that follows Gaudí's trail through the city, and solves the problem of the Eixample's slopes along the way. You set off through the Gothic Quarter, cross Ciutadella Park, and head up through the Eixample to the Sagrada Família. There you stop: there's time for a drink in front of the basilica while the guide explains how it is built and why it is still under construction. The way back runs along a dedicated bike lane through the Eixample, past Casa Milà and Casa Batlló, two façades that look better from the saddle than from the sidewalk. The end point is back in the Gothic Quarter. What you hear along the way isn't just dates: there are anecdotes from Gaudí's life and about the obsessions that ended up inside his buildings.
