Mosaic workshop near Park Güell: box design for adults, animal design for children

A mosaic workshop just a few minutes from Park Güell, designed for both children and adults to participate in, with each person creating their own piece. The adults work on a decorative box. The children create a mosaic on the silhouette of an animal of their choice, which is what keeps them engaged. The workshop was designed by Marta Eri, born in Barcelona, a historian, archaeologist, restorer, and mosaic instructor. She received the National Award for Educational Innovation in 2021, was named Ambassador of Art and Culture in 2022, and was nominated for the Crystal Sea Awards in 2023. She has also written a book about her fifteen years of work in education, "Stop Bullying with Mosaic Art," which is available for sale on Amazon. The space is separate from the hustle and bustle of the park, and participants leave with the handmade piece and with the mosaic technique that Gaudí made famous.
