You walk along Avinguda de Gaudí while learning about the architect's life: where he was born, what his childhood was like, and where he got the ideas for the temple. The view from the avenue is one of the best in the city, because at the other end, in the direction you're walking, the Sagrada Família appears, silhouetted against the sky.

It's time to enter the work that Gaudí left unfinished, with the express ticket to skip the line. From the outside, the Sagrada Família is already impressive; inside, the change in scale is disorienting. The light filters through the stained glass windows, distributing color throughout the nave. Above, the columns open up like trees. There is no other interior like it. The priority entrance includes an audio guide in the language of your visit.
