Guided tour of the Sagrada Família with a guide who explains in German, something that is not very common in Barcelona: most tours are in English or Spanish. The registration is done at the Julià Travel office, located at Carrer de Sardenya 311, just a short walk from the temple, and from there, the guide accompanies the group to the entrance. Inside, the history of the building is explained, and where Gaudí got his inspiration: from trees, bones, and shells, not from the architectural manuals of his time. Also, the symbolism, which is present in almost everything you see. After the tour, you can stay inside and visit the temple's museum, which features drawings, models, and photographs about the construction of the basilica and about the life of Gaudí.

  • We cannot predict when the Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions during the summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, and local holidays). The "skip-the-line" ticket allows you to bypass the line if there is one. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict the days and times when lines are likely to form.
