Sagrada Família with priority access: both facades, the museum, and the schools
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BarcelonaWhat distinguishes this tour are the two facades, viewed one against the other, and what remains to be seen when the guided portion ends. It begins outside, a few steps from the basilica, with an official guide who explains the origins of the project and deciphers the facade of the Nativity scene, scene by scene. Then, you enter without waiting in line. Inside, the light from the stained glass windows falls on the branching columns and changes color depending on the time of day and the side from which it enters. Next, you see the facade of the Passion, which faces the opposite direction: angular figures, bare stone, scenes of sacrifice. The entrance includes the Sagrada Família Museum, with sketches, models, and original plans by Gaudí, where you can see how the project evolved over the years. And access to the Sagrada Família Schools, the pavilion that Gaudí built for the children of the workers, and past which many people walk by without noticing. The complex is part of the works of Antoni Gaudí that are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
