Sagrada Familia without queues: turtles, the "33" square, and Pontius Pilate
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BarcelonaA visit to the interior of the basilica, focusing on what almost no one sees unless it's pointed out to them. You enter through the Nativity facade and proceed to what Gaudí envisioned as a forest of stone: columns shaped like trees and stained glass windows that tint the air with color. The architect copied from nature, and here, every element is meant to convey something specific. Throughout the tour, hidden details emerge: the turtles at the base of the columns, the numerical grid whose rows add up to 33, and the messages scattered across the ceiling. Next, you see the Passion facade, austere and hard, which depicts the last days of Jesus and continues to spark controversy, starting with the sculptor who portrayed himself as Pontius Pilate. The tour ends with the museum, which features original sketches, models, and photographs by Gaudí. The work has been underway for over 140 years; the tour, however, does come to an end.

It is the liturgical center of the temple, where the main altar is located. Marian devotion: the Virgin Mary in the most sacred point of the building.
