A semi-private tour that divides the day into two parts: the old part is explored on foot, while the rest of the city is visited by air-conditioned minibus. Departure at 8:30 AM from Plaça de Catalunya. The first part takes place in the Gothic Quarter: the Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter (El Call), Plaça de Sant Jaume with the City Hall and the Generalitat facing each other, and a section of the Roman wall. It ends at Santa Maria del Mar, in El Born, where there is a break with a cold or hot drink included. Then, you board the vehicle. On the way to Montjuïc, you pass by the "Cara de Barcelona" (Barcelona Face) and the Columbus Monument, and at the top, you stop at the Miramar viewpoint. You also pass through the Olympic area from 1992 and the MNAC, which occupies the Palau Nacional from the 1929 Exposition. Next, it's on to Park Güell, with a walking tour of the gardens. Entrance to the park is not included: it costs €10 per person, and you pay the guide after the visit, who will take care of obtaining the tickets. The day concludes at the Sagrada Família, viewed from the outside, with an explanation of the three facades.

  1. Pl. de Catalunya, 19, Barcelona

In front of the Olivia Plaza Hotel, next to the Foot Locker store, at 8:30 AM.

  2. Barrio Gótic

The day begins at Plaça de Catalunya and continues on foot through the Gothic Quarter, a maze of narrow streets with a mix of Roman and medieval stonework. You'll see the Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter (El Call), Plaça de Sant Jaume, and a section of the Roman wall. The walk ends at Santa Maria del Mar, in the Born neighborhood, with a break and a coffee at a local cafe.

  3. Catedral de Barcelona

A detailed description of the exterior and facade.

  4. Plaça de Sant Jaume

After crossing the Jewish Quarter, you arrive at Plaça de Sant Jaume, with Barcelona City Hall on one side and the Palau de la Generalitat (the seat of the Catalan government) on the other.

  5. Basílica de Santa María del Mar

The final stop of the walking tour: Santa Maria del Mar, viewed from the exterior. Following this, there will be a coffee break, with a complimentary hot or cold beverage.

  6. Montjuic

After the walk, we boarded the vehicle and headed towards Montjuïc, the site of the 1929 International Exposition and the 1992 Olympic Games, which boasts one of the best viewpoints overlooking the city.

  7. Cara de Barcelona

On the way to Montjuïc, you can see the "Face of Barcelona" from the vehicle, located near the port. It's a massive sculpture made of letters and symbols that appear to be suspended in the air. When viewed from the correct angle, they form the profile of a human face looking forward.

  8. Once we pass El Cap de Barcelona (The Head of Barcelona)

After passing the Arc de Triomf in Barcelona, you reach the Christopher Columbus Monument. From the vehicle, you can see the 60-meter column that rises above the harbor area, with the statue of Christopher Columbus at the top, pointing towards the sea, a reminder of Barcelona's role as a starting point for great voyages.

  9. After passing the Columbus Monument

From the Columbus Monument, you can ascend Montjuïc hill to the Miramar viewpoint. This is a great spot to stop and take photos of Barcelona's skyline, with the hills in the background.

  10. Joan Miró Foundation

After Miramar, the tour continues through Montjuïc, passing by the Miró Foundation. From the vehicle, you can see the architecture of this museum, nestled into the hillside with the city below.

  11. Estadi Olímpic

After passing the Miró Foundation, you come across the Olympic Stadium, the venue for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. From the vehicle, you can appreciate the scale of the building and its facade. Some days, the stadium is open to the public, and you can see inside. Next to it is the Olympic Museum, with exhibitions about the history of the Games and about what the year 1992 meant for the city.

  12. Museo Nacional d'Arte de Cataluña

After the Olympic Stadium, you reach the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), which is located in the Palau Nacional, at the top of Montjuïc hill.

  13. Casa Batlló

Coming down from the MNAC, you pass by the Casa Batlló on Passeig de Gràcia. It's one of Gaudí's most famous works, with its undulating, colorful facade that resembles bones and dragon scales. There's no need to stop here; you can see it from the vehicle without getting out.

  14. Basílica de la Sagrada Familia

Stop at the Sagrada Família. You don't go inside, but the exterior is impressive and worth spending time admiring. Walking around the temple, the guide explains what each facade represents: the Nativity facade, full of figures and details; the Passion facade, stark and angular; and the Glory facade, still under construction, which one day will be the main entrance. The guide also explains how Gaudí combined nature, geometry, and faith in the project, and why the construction, which began in 1882, is still ongoing.

  15. Park Güell

From the Gothic Quarter, the air-conditioned minibus drives through the city: you see La Rambla, the Columbus Monument and the Mediterranean. There's a stop on Montjuïc for the panoramic view, and you cross the Olympic avenue. Then you head up to Park Güell, on Carmel Hill, and explore the gardens on foot. Park Güell admission is not included in the price: it's €10 per person, paid to the guide after the walking tour. The guide takes care of getting it, so you don't need to buy it yourself.

  16. La Pedrera - Casa Mila

La Pedrera (Casa Milà) was completed in 1912 and is one of the key works of Catalan Modernism: a facade of undulating stone and wrought iron balconies copied from natural forms. You can visit a restored floor from the early 20th century, the Espai Gaudí located in the attic, and the rooftop, with its sculpted chimneys and views of Barcelona. It is one of the must-see attractions for those interested in the city's architecture or design.

  17. Sagrada Família, Barcelona

The tour concludes at the Sagrada Família. Due to operational or weather-related reasons, it may sometimes end at Park Güell, and in such cases, we will notify you in advance.
