A tour of Barcelona's highlights in an air-conditioned vehicle, for those who want to see it all without ending the day exhausted. You walk through the medieval streets of the Gothic Quarter and go up Montjuïc, with the city and the port below. Along the way you pass Casa Batlló before reaching Park Güell. Then you go inside the Sagrada Família, and the day ends inside La Pedrera, another work by Gaudí. The group is small and the guide stays with it the whole time. The difference from a sightseeing bus is that you don't have to cover miles on foot or share the vehicle with fifty people. A good fit for a first visit to the city.

What's included

  • Official guide
  • Small group size to ensure a personalized experience.
  • Transported in a comfortable vehicle.
  • Panoramic views of the most beautiful urban landscapes of Montjuïc and Park Güell.

After passing the Arc de Triomf, you reach the Columbus Monument. From the car, you can see the 60-meter-high column that rises above the harbor area, with the statue of Christopher Columbus at the top, pointing towards the sea.

  9. After passing the Columbus Monument

After the Columbus Monument, you ascend Montjuïc to the Miramar viewpoint. There, you can stop to calmly admire the city. It's one of the best places to take a photo of Barcelona's skyline, with the hills in the background.

  18. Casa Batlló

After La Pedrera, you walk a few blocks down Passeig de Gràcia to Casa Batlló, another of Gaudí's major works. It's known as the house of bones for its skeletal-looking balconies and the organic shapes of its facade, covered in colorful mosaic. The guide explains how Gaudí turned an ordinary building into what it is today, drawing on nature and Catalan legends, above all the legend of Saint George and the dragon, which sits on the roof. The contrast with La Pedrera is striking, and it's where you can best see just how far this architect took the change he brought to early 20th-century Barcelona.
