Barcelona walking tour in French: Gothic Quarter and the Gaudí area
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BarcelonaA walking tour in a small group with a native English-speaking guide, something that is not always readily available in Barcelona: most tours are offered in English or Spanish. It covers the two most popular areas of the city. First, the Gothic Quarter, with its Roman ruins, its medieval churches, and the courtyards and squares that are off the beaten path. Then, the Gaudí area on Passeig de Gràcia, with Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. The guide is professional and explains the history behind everything: the history of the city, of Catalonia, and of Spain, along with its traditions. They also provide recommendations and the exact locations from which to take the best photos. It works well as a first day in Barcelona or as a land excursion for those arriving by cruise, and it is suitable for families, couples, business trips, or student groups. The meeting point is on the sidewalk in front of the Plaça de Catalunya, opposite the ticket office, and the guide carries a white umbrella.
