Complete Gaudí Tour: Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, and Casa Batlló (12/12)

An introduction to Barcelona through the works of Gaudí, which solves what normally requires booking tickets at three different locations in a single outing. The group does not exceed fifteen people, it is led by a local guide, and the tickets are reserved in advance, with access without queuing. The tour includes the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and Casa Batlló, and also features Casa Milà (La Pedrera), viewed from the street. Between stops, you're taken through the neighborhoods where Gaudí worked, with private transportation for the longer stretches. This is especially suitable for those visiting Barcelona for the first time and who want to see the architect's most important buildings without having to plan the itinerary or coordinate schedules for three different ticket offices. The tour includes a guided visit inside the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, and entry to one of the residential buildings that made Gaudí famous. It's a combination of an organized tour with the intimacy of a small group: a maximum of fifteen travelers, an expert guide, and transfers included between the main points.

Itinerary

  1. Pg. de Gràcia, 41, Barcelona

It's advisable to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. The meeting point is on the street, in front of the Amatller House, right next to Gaudí's Casa Batlló, at Passeig de Gràcia, 41, 08007 Barcelona. The guide will be waiting there with a yellow sign that says "WalksDevour."

  2. Casa Amatller

Meet your guide and the rest of the group on Passeig de Gràcia, in front of the Casa Amatller, a fine example of Catalan Modernism and a great way to begin a day dedicated to the architecture that Antoni Gaudí championed.

    Costo extra

  3. Casa Batlló

The morning begins at Casa Batlló. Those who start their visit in the morning enter and are immediately taken to the most recognizable rooms, with the guide pointing out the details that make this house unique: the "gills" that seem to breathe, and the interplay of light on the tiles. In the afternoon, the house becomes crowded, so that time slot is reserved for the guide's explanations. Later, visitors move on to another equally interesting Gaudí house, ensuring that the visit runs smoothly within the agreed-upon time.

  4. La Pedrera - Casa Mila

You continue along Passeig de Gràcia to Casa Milà, better known as La Pedrera, one of Antoni Gaudí's most recognizable works and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the sidewalk, you're told how the undulating stone facade, the wrought-iron balconies, and an unprecedented design challenged the very idea of a residential building, and why the people of Barcelona nicknamed it "la cantera." You only see Casa Milà from the outside: the entrance is not included.

    Costo extra

  5. Casa Vicens Gaudí

If time allows, the morning session includes a visit to Casa Vicens, the first important house designed by Antoni Gaudí and an early work of Catalan Modernism. Its exterior, full of color and decoration, is observed, and it is explained how, in this lesser-known work, the style that would later make the architect famous throughout Barcelona is already evident. From here, the group takes private transportation and continues with the next part of the tour.

  6. Park Güell

If the option has been selected, you will then proceed to Park Güell. Half explosion of color, half serious study of organic forms, the park follows the way nature grows. Since the entrance fee is charged, the queues have become much longer: here, access is without queues. With the "Gaudí Highlights" option, Park Güell is not included.

  7. Barri de Gràcia

Short transfer by private air-conditioned minibus between Park Güell and the Sagrada Família. With the Complete Gaudí Express option, this leg is done by metro.

  8. L'Eixample

Short break for coffee or a bite to eat. It's not included in the price, but the guide recommends where to go. With the Complete Gaudí Express option, there's no break.

    Costo extra

  9. Basílica de la Sagrada Familia

The highlight of the tour is Gaudí's most recognizable work: the Sagrada Família. A full hour is dedicated to the basilica, and unlike most tours, after visiting, you descend to the museum, where you can see the architect's drawings, models, and calculations, and from where you can clearly see his tomb. The entrance is booked in advance, so that hour is fully utilized for the guided tour: the height of the interior, the way the light enters and colors the space, the details of the symbolism, and the history of the project. The Sagrada Família museum shows how Gaudí worked and what engineering supports the building. The architect's tomb, which is visible, concludes a tour that has followed his work throughout Barcelona.

  10. La Sagrada Familia, Calle de Mallorca, 401, Barcelona
