Gaudí in a Day: Casa Vicens, La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família
A full day exploring the works of Antoni Gaudí in chronological order, and that's the beauty of the tour: it starts with the first commission he received at the age of 26, moves through the last work he completed in his lifetime, and concludes with the one he left unfinished. In four buildings, you can see how his way of building evolved over forty years. You'll visit the Sagrada Família, Casa Vicens, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló, all with fast-track entry included. In Gaudí's work, nothing is placed arbitrarily: every detail has a reason, and with a guide in front of you, that's no longer just a cliché. The tour is conducted in English, Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. The Sagrada Família often fills up several days in advance, so it's advisable to book early.

Casa Vicens Gaudí
The day begins at Casa Vicens, Gaudí's first project, shortly after he graduated from architecture school. It was the first time he was able to do exactly what he wanted, with motifs inspired by the East. You enter the house with an introduction from the guide, and then you have time to explore it on your own.
Barri de Gràcia
The Casa Vicens is located in Gràcia, a town that remained on the outskirts of Barcelona until the city expanded in the late 19th century. Walking through its narrow streets, you can see that it has retained its character, and that's why it remains one of the favorite neighborhoods for the people of Barcelona themselves.
La Pedrera - Casa Mila
The Casa Milà was the last project that Gaudí completed during his lifetime. Looking at the facade, you can see the anecdotes: today, it is one of the most famous buildings in Spain, but when it was built, no one liked it. The people of Barcelona called it "La Pedrera," the quarry, and that nickname stuck. The visit includes the apartment of a resident, the courtyards on the ground floor, and the rooftop, which offers one of the best views of the city.
Passeig de Gràcia
Next, we arrive at Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona's most expensive avenue, somewhat like its Fifth Avenue. Wealthy families of that era competed to have the most impressive facades, and that competition resulted in the concentration of architecture that we see today. The guide explains the details as we walk towards the next stop.
Casa Batlló
The guide explains the facade of Casa Batlló, with its meanings and symbolism, element by element. Inside, they accompany you through the main lobby and the noble floor. After Casa Batlló, there are 2 hours of break for lunch. The guide provides recommendations and indicates how to get to the afternoon meeting point. The start time of the visit to the Sagrada Família varies depending on availability and season, but it is usually between 4 and 6 pm.
Basílica de la Sagrada Familia
To finish, the work Gaudí left unfinished, with fast-track, skip-the-line entry. From the outside, the Sagrada Família is already imposing, but the real shift comes when you step inside: light pours through the stained-glass windows and scatters color across the nave, and the columns rise and branch out like trees. With a guaranteed ticket, you don't risk missing out on a spot at the most visited monument in Spain.
