One-hour workshop: Creating a Gaudí-inspired hexagonal mosaic tile using the "trencadís" technique

BarcelonaA one-hour workshop to create a mosaic piece in the shape of the hexagonal tile that Gaudí designed and which today paves Passeig de Gràcia. Each participant takes their own piece home. In 2026, the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death will be commemorated. The workshop is led by Angelika Heinbach, who has been awarded the diploma of "Mestre Artesà divulgatiu" (Master Artisan for her work and promotion of this craft), presented by the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia at the Palau de la Generalitat. In 2019, she collaborated with Casa Batlló within the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteer project, "The restoration of Casa Batlló, from within and beyond its walls." The workshop is located near the Museu Picasso and the Santa Caterina market.
