Sagrada Familia: A group tour focusing on the vaults, stained glass windows, and the temple museum
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
BarcelonaA visit to the Sagrada Família in a small group, with a maximum of nine people, and skip-the-line access. The meeting point is at the Vivari cafeteria, located at Carrer de Mallorca 436, just a few steps from the temple. From there, you will enter with the tickets that have already been reserved. The tour begins outside, comparing the two facades that face each other: the Nativity facade, with its vegetation carved stone by stone, and the Passion facade, which is stark and angular. Inside, you will see the nave, the columns that branch out like trees, and the light from the stained glass windows. The guide speaks English and goes into technical details: how the hyperbolic vaults work, why Gaudí arrived at those shapes, and what has kept the building under construction for more than a century. Admission to the museum is included, with the plaster models and original sketches. The guided portion of the tour ends inside the basilica, so you can continue exploring on your own for as long as you like.

Basílica de la Sagrada Familia
The tour begins outside the Sagrada Família, with a guide and a group of no more than nine people. First, the vegetal sculptures on the Nativity façade are compared to the stone sculptures on the Passion façade, and then, with pre-booked tickets, the group enters without waiting in line. Inside, the nave is bathed in light that filters through the stained glass windows, and the stone columns branch out like trees. As the group explores the interior, the guide recounts the life of Antoni Gaudí and the decisions that keep the basilica under construction to this day. He also explains how the hyperbolic vaults work, before descending to the museum, where there are plaster models and original sketches. The guided portion of the tour ends inside the temple, so you can continue to admire it and then visit the museum at your leisure.
