The interior of the Sagrada Família is unlike other religious buildings. As you enter, light passes through the stained-glass windows and spreads color across the whole nave, with tones that shift with the time of day. The tour starts outside, at the Nativity Façade, the one most laden with sculpture. It continues inside, among the columns that branch out like trees and the vaults. And it ends at the Passion Façade, stark and pared back, very different from the first. Such a small group changes the tone of the explanation: there is time to ask why the church is built the way it is, and to go back over anything that wasn't clear. When the guided part is over, there is free time for the Sagrada Família museum and the official shop. The tour is conducted in English.

Basílica de la Sagrada Familia
The masterpiece of Gaudí, on a tour in English. It begins outside, at the façade of the Nativity, which is the most heavily adorned with sculptures. Inside, you'll see the nave, the columns that open into branches, the vaults, and the stained glass windows. You exit through the façade of the Passion, which has a more austere design and is very different from the first. After the guided portion, there is free time to visit the museum and the official store, at your own pace.
