A small-group tour designed to help you understand the basilica, not just see it. The guide is Catalan and puts the basilica in context: what was happening in Catalonia when construction began, and why the building turned out this way and not another. Then comes the symbolism, which is everywhere in the Sagrada Família and almost never explained. Gaudí started from the idea that there is an order that predates us, and used architecture to arrange light around that idea. You see it as soon as you walk in, but you need to know where to look. Tickets are included, with priority access.
